Quest Nº 4 Fully assess the damage [Retired IOR boat refit]

Sv Oiysh is a 1985 Bruce Farr design, 40 foot, Australian build retired racing boat. We started a first major refit in October of 2019 after realizing that, what we thought was a simple case of a leaking stuffing box, was actually a much bigger issue. In this quest we try to fully assess the damage that we think was caused by the keel hitting something or Oiysh being run aground hard. We discover that the extent of the damage goes much further then we initially thought.
