Quest Nº 2: Drop the rudder so we can drop our keel [Retired IOR boat refit]

Sv Oiysh is a 1985 Bruce Farr design, 40 foot, Australian build retired racing boat. We started a first major refit in October of 2019 after realizing that, what we thought was a simple case of a leaking stuffing box, was actually a much bigger issue. What we found suggested that at some point it hit the ground which caused a lot of damage to the boats' structure including stringer de-lamination, a lot of cracks of the kevlar shell and a major crack of the stern tube. In this quest we drop the rudder in order to be able to drop our keel and rest the boat on its bottom for the duration of oncoming repairs. We hope you enjoy watching it :D
