Quest Nº 1: Remove our diesel engine ... forever ⛵🔨 [Retired IOR boat refit]

Sv Oiysh is a 1985 Bruce Farr design, 40 foot, Australian build retired racing boat. We started a first major refit in October of 2019 after realizing that ,what we thought was a simple case of a leaking stuffing box, was actually a much bigger issue. What we found suggested that at some point it hit the ground which caused a lot of damage to the boats' structure including stringer de-lamination, a lot of cracks of the kevlar shell and a major crack of the stern tube. In this quest we tackle removing our diesel engine in order to get the full overview of the damage on the inside of the boat. We hope you enjoy watching it :D
