Missing

Video & soundwork from the Installation 'Missing', exhibited at Temporarily out of Place @ NDSM Treehouse, Amsterdam. 13 Nov - 7 Dec 2025 KIEM & Imke Hullmann Accompanying the installation is a glass piece hanging over the projection. The piece is a print of a cut elm tree in Amsterdam-Noord. It hangs over the sand of Strandeiland, held by the chainsaw chains that cut it down. The video plays on the floor, switching between the neighbourhood stories. The audience is invited to connect to the neighbourhood the installation is presented in: the NDSM wharf of Amsterdam-Noord, where huge shipping docks used to mark the landscape. What is missing here? Which non-human neighbours ask for attention?
