Today, I’m playing "Auld Lang Syne," a song traditionally sung to bid farewell to the old year. It asks the question: "Should old acquaintance be forgotten?" In our world today, the danger is not just forgetting old friends, but forgetting the humanity of those suffering right now. I am dedicating Day 20 to the Hind Rajab Foundation. This organization exists to ensure that the victims of the crimes committed by Israel in Palestine are never forgotten. They are documenting history as it happens, building legal cases to ensure that these atrocities are not swept into the past without consequence.
