Sony SMC-70 character generator demo - Fundy Cable 10 Fredericton, 1990

Digitized from a U-Matic tape, this is a demo someone threw together showcasing the various graphics and effects that were used by Fundy Cable 10 Fredericton at the time. The Sony SMC-70 was introduced in 1982 as a general-purpose microcomputer system, as well as a variant to be used as a character and graphics generator in a broadcast environment. It was powered by a Z80 microprocessor and ran CP/M. It was the first computer system to use Sony's 3.5" microfloppy diskette.
