#How to use the LM menu and launch panel ## Script The Linux Mint menu is very much like the menu on a windows computer. It allows you to find and run all the applications installed on your computer. You can open the menu one of two ways: you can click on it with your mouse pointer, or you can press the windows logo button on your keyboard (if you have one). The menu has four basic areas: 1. The pinned app icons are in a column on the left-hand side. These allow quick access to things you use frequently. 2. The middle column is a list of app categories, organised by task type. There is a special "all applications" item at the top that contains everything. 3. The right-hand column is the list of applications, and the contents change if you click on one of the category items in the middle column. 4. Across the top is the search field, which allows you to find apps by typing a few letters of their name. This can be faster if you can't remember where the app is in the application cat
