Large 8mm videotape digitization project

The parents of a friend of mine have forty 8mm camcorder tapes that they can no longer watch. They asked me if I knew of any company/etc. that could digitize them, and were overjoyed when I said that I could do it myself. I am buying my friend's furniture that remained in the apartment when I moved in, so in return for doing this, I am getting a discount on the previously agreed-upon price.
