Lore: During the war between the humans and the himek the ruler of earth Albert Murdoc ordered earth's scientists to the alien creatures known as skellatines into a biological weapon which would later be known as yellow slime. However before the slime could be used for warfare an enemy of albert's had broken the container causing it to backfire on the humans, including Albert himself. This gave the himek an advantage as they used the yellow slime against humanity and got it to consume all human settlements on earth. The himek then raised the earth's sea levels, terraformed the land mass and altered the genetics of any remaining creatures.
