36.0 Echos / Echo #24 - Make it Stop!

This echo is a mix of multiple recordings, edited today, from my Zoom H5 with either the XY mic capsule or the Rode NTG1 shotgun mic, or from my phone. We don't talk about noise pollution enough in our societies, even though it has a very serious impact on our health, both physical and mental. Have you ever experienced the instant relief and release of your brain and body when there is a power outage and suddenly all noises, even those we don't hear anymore (at least not consciously), stop? To me, it's instantaneous whenever it happens. If there is one thing (and that's the only one) I miss from the Covid era, it's those pockets of silence we had, with no planes, less cars, less activity overall. Silence is so soothing, but it's like people are terrified of it nowadays.
