A Tipping Point! Yihua 706-II Soldering Station Test and Teardown
That's it - new soldering equipment time in my lab! My previous station (Solomon SL20) served me well for 15 years if not more, but I grew more and more impatient with having to wait until it heats up, and I work with SMT electronics pretty often, so I needed a modern iron for precise tips and a hot air station. Will this one deliver? Sure so! The intro was recorded later on after I found out I lost audio on a good part of the footage. Had this issue once before, got no idea why it's the case. Still gotta pin that pesky little bugger down... Anyway, I had some time to work with the new station, both hot air and iron, and am really satisfied with it. 0:00 Intro From the Future! 1:16 It's There 1:58 Goodbye, Solomon 4:45 New Iron 7:50 Back To The Past...
