use lowpass filter to boost high frequencies? (electribe SX tutorial)

APOLOGIES: sometimes i mention 'highpass' when i actually mean 'lowpass' :) The obvious usage for lowpassfilters is to reduce high frequencies. However, with a resonant filter can do the opposite as wel. Get creative with a lowpassfilter, use it as an exciter.
