36.0 Echos / Echo #10 - The Silence is Broken

This echo was recorded on my Zoom H5 with Rode NTG1 shotgun mic on Feb 1, 2022, edited today. A seaplane flying over Stanley Park, breaking the silence of the forest. Needless to say I hate those seaplanes. From the moment you hear one in the distance until it's gone, it's a whole 5min, and at peak hour, as soon as one has gone, a new one is coming. If you're lucky, you might get a minute of relative silence in between. It's incessant and it drives me nuts. These are the times I actually miss Covid, when there were no planes and much less traffic. The forest then was so quiet. It was healing.
