36.0 Echos / Echo #6 - Hail Thunderstorm

This echo was recorded from my apartment on my Zoom H5 with Rode NTG1 shotgun mic on May 17, 2021, edited today. All hail broke loose before a rare thunderstorm (we don't get many of those here). I must say I really love this one, which is why I decided to cheat and make it much longer than my usual 36". And I really like the effect the gust of winds made towards the end. Because of the DeadCat, it's muffled, but it makes it sound like a heartbeat, echoing the rolling of thunder in the distance. And it gives a bit of a creepy, end-of-the-world kinda vibe. _____ Cet écho a été enregistré depuis mon appartement sur mon Zoom H5 avec le micro shotgun NTG1 de Rode le 17 mai 2021, édité aujourd'hui. Un tonnerre de grêle avant l'orage (les orages sont rares ici). Je dois avouer que j'aime beaucoup celui-ci, j'ai donc décidé de tricher et de le faire beaucoup plus long que les habituelles 36".
