Keri's RevEng, mission 1: Maya 1010 [1]

Trying to command and conquer the electronics YT with a series on reverse engineering and device teardowns. Haha. Starting with an Audiotrak / ESI Maya 1010 soundcard. I got this card without the audio breakout box and cable, and there's no schematics or service manuals around, so I have to figure out the pinout of the high density DB44 audio connector. The card features 8 balanced analog inputs and 8 unbalanced analog outputs, as well as 2 digital inputs and 2 digital outputs. My goal is to connect the card with any audio electronics I need to (mixers, mikes, hifi gear etc.) to use it as a sound interface in my PC.
