Bransle de l'Official / Ding Dong! Merrily On High

The popular Christmas carol "Ding Dong! Merrily On High" is based on a French renaissance dance from Thoinot Arbeau's Orchésographie. In this video, I look at the tune and play two arrangements of it. The descriptions of the various dances are taken from Mary Stewart Evans's translation (see below).
