Basse-Dance "Jouyssance Vous Donneray" from Orchésographie
I play my arrangement of the Basse-Danse from Thoinot Arbeau's Orchésographie on soprano ukulele, tenor ukulele, baritone ukulele and guitar. The harmony parts are based on the version from Peter Warlock's Capriol Suite. Warlock re-ordered some parts of the piece and added a new ending; this version uses his harmonies but with Arbeau's original structure of the melody. The arrangement is taken from m book, Selections from Thoinot Arbeau's Orchésographie arranged for ukulele, which has arrangements of tunes from Orchésographie for ukulele solos and ensembles.
