rainforest vibes

Ferndell Trail rainforest in Griffith Park is a refuge from the sweltering August heat. Among the attractions are abundant plants, flowers, and wildlife, plenty of shade, and a small river featuring a succession of small waterfalls. Ferndell Canyon is the site of the Gabrielino Native American tribe and declared a historic landmark by the city of Los Angeles. (Note: I selected scenes with the least amount of background noise of traffic and people talking, but this being LA, there is still a loud car horn beep at 1:45.)
