#retrocomputing Amstrad 464 and 6128 Plus Now we've hit the 1990s. Well, again. We just saw the GX4000, Amstrad's attempt to enter the console market, but they hadn't given up on the home computer market. The 1990s were an interesting time, the Amiga and ST were very much established, the IBM compatible PCs were becoming cheap enough to enter more homes, partly helped by Amstrads own compatible machines, and consoles were finally starting to break into the european market.
