Showcase - 3D Maze Prototype

Few years ago I created a three dimensional maze. It was part of my learning process about developing games. The goal was to create a fully playable level in a completely transformable world. In this video I will give you a short insight in this work. **Information about game design:**β€― The player has one entry to this level. The green plattform is an checkpoint. There are also 3 other green plattforms, which contain 5 checkpoints (depends on which side the player will arrive). These are also the goals of the level. Theoretically another maze level could continue at those 5 points. On the way the player will run into different trigger boxes that cause a maze transform. Sometimes the whole maze will rotate and walls become the new ground. Other times specific parts of the maze rotate or move around. While creating this level I realized that it makes much sense to not plan the whole maze before creating it. The maze will grow dynamically on each element that gets added. At the end I ha
