1:1000 Romulan D7 - Animated Version - Slideshow Build

This slideshow is a build-up of the 1:1000 D7 model kit from Round2/Polar Lights that I finished in late 2017. It took a lot longer than I wanted because I had been writing my dissertation. I built it as a Romulan capital ship, trying to emulate the style of "The Animated Series" as done by Filmation. I also made a custom base from a cheap wood plaque, some acrylic sheet and a printer transparency. Duplicolor Gray Filler primer, Model Master Enamels (now discontinued), Pledge Floor Gloss (also discontinued) and a flat of Krylon Matte UV-Resistant Clear.
