Our Mother Earth is burning, drowning, and suffocating at the same time. We did this to her. It is frightening, threatening, and overwhelmingly sad, and I feel that I can’t not say anything about it. “It’s Not Me, It’s You” is my attempt at calling out those who are to blame, politicians, corporate bosses, “leaders.” At the same time, the song tries to remind Us, The People, that there’s still hope if we stand together, change our behaviour, bring down the old powers and install new ones. “It’s Not Me, It’s You” out on October 13.
