[Speedpaint] My Childhood Kitten

This is a recreation of a photo of my childhood cat, Artemis (that 10 year old me wrote Artimus on the bowl). I thought that I didn't have any pictures of him anymore, but it turns out I did! Just one, on an ancient blog, with my face blurred. So I decided one morning to recreate the image, and I ended up really envoking the feeling of how much I miss him. He died a tragic death, but he was loved. We would sleep on the couch all the time and he'd just let me hold him like this for hours. (The couch was probably from the 80s at that point.) This was when I was 13.
