8.sept. 2025 - Protest-Walk "(student card) Indeks is stronger than police stick" - Belgrade, Serbia

On September 8th, at 2 PM, the protest "Index is stronger than the baton" began in front of the Government of Serbia, organized by students in the blockade of the University of Belgrade, at the initiative of students from the Faculty of Political Sciences. A large crowd gathered, and for over half an hour, they made noise with whistles and horns. A speech was also held where it was said: "The police use excessive force every day, and we count the beaten, humiliated, and silenced citizens." About half of the crowd slowly started moving towards the Palace of Injustice of the ruling class, where we arrived after about 20 minutes. There, a student poured red paint on the steps to tell them that their hands are bloody. Nikolina Sindjelić was standing about 2 meters away from me, and I noticed she had a badge indicating she was a feminist.
