Action against Elbit Systems and genocide enablers

As part of the global week of action against weapon companies involved in genocide, activists visited the Elbit Systems office, the Moderate party office and the SVT building in Gothenburg, Sweden on the night of April 15 2024. The activists want to draw attention to the ongoing genocide that Israel is committing against Palestinians and highlight how Sweden is directly complicit in what is happening, through the state's business with the Israeli weapon company Elbit Systems. Elbit Systems is Israel's largest weapon company, which supplies the Israeli military with 85 percent of their drones and weapons "tested in combat," which means that these are used to violently oppress Palestinians. In recent years, Sweden has made large purchases of Israeli weapons.
