As the news cycle focuses on an epic battle between those infected with the Woke Mind Virus and so-called defenders of free speech, another virus, virtually forgotten by western governments, has sparked tensions in China. Mired by extreme lock-down measures coupled with food and medicine shortages, people in China have become increasingly frustrated with the country's Zero-COVID policy. In Zhengzhou workers reached their breaking point and occupied the massive Foxconn factory dubbed 'iPhone city'. Days later in a predominantly-Uighur neighborhood in Urumqi, Xinjiang province, a fire broke out in a high-rise building, killing at least 10 people. And in other news, in Elon Musk's quest to rid Twitter of wokeness, he has laid off over half the staff, reinstated a number of banned right-wing accounts, and is purging anarchists and antifascists.
