March on the Boss, March on the Landlord - Tenants of COGIR March on Landlord's Offices

June 2, the Montreal Autonomous Tenants' Union (SLAM-MATU) marched on the head offices of COGIR, a billionaire real estate management and developement company. A tenant council connected to SLAM had been established in three COGIR buildings. Tenants were struggling with high rent, mold,flooding, infestations, poor upkeep, and bullying behaviour from management.
