In 1992 after Slovenia declared its independents from Socialist Federal Republic Of Yugoslavia the newly formed state and its makers passed a law that erased 25.671 permanent residents from its register since their citizenship was from some other Yugoslav country. they were not properly notified and many didn't even understand or realized this law also applies to them until their documents were check at some point by police, administrative government workers ect. having their ID cut, became subject of deportation order, imprisonment ect. It was an act of administrative ethnic cleansing. It lasted many years so that they've realized they are many and that their human right were heavily violated. Many families and life were destroyed. Many lost their apartments, their belongings, health and some even their life. Even in this hard circumstances they manage to join and start up a long lasting fight for their rights that continues until today. Due to heavy nationalistic propaganda they had
