Personal Drama

The work is based on 3 supposedly real stories published in a Bulgarian newspaper called "Personal Drama": a media outlet in which readers share their own experiences. The film tackles the absurdity of our personal dramas by questioning their importance on a universal level. Trivialities are banal, but at the same time they are the essence of our existence. Mass media acknowledges our dependency on day to day dramas and exploits the consumers' primal need for gossip.
