After the struggle for a squatted house in Vondel Street, which we reported on earlier, this second part of our series on house struggles in the Netherlands looks at the action month of the squatters' movement in April 1980. The action month reached its climax on Beatrix's coronation day, on April 30, 1980. This April 30, 1980 was the biggest revolt that took place in the Netherlands after World War II.
