Anarchist Federation - Talk on Turkey's Devrimci Anarşist Faaliyet (Revolutionary Anarchist Action)

DAF has been organising in Turkey, Syria and the surrounding areas for the past decade. During this time they have faced repression from both the Turkish state and from ISIS. Despite this, they have created their own economy in order to sustain themselves and their projects. They have carried out many inspiring actions, and run multiple groups including a monthly newsletter and magazine, weekly talks, and were the first group to have raised the anarchist flag at Newros (Kurdish new year celebrations). They balance a disciplined commitment to action with an intersectional approach. Max, a member of the Anarchist Federation in the UK, will relay what they learnt when staying with them in Istanbul, and how this could be applied elsewhere.
