Inmate video of riot in Lansing Correctional Facility Kansas (Strong Language)

On Thursday 9th of April 50 inmates at the Lansing correctional facility in Kansas rioted shortly after it was announced that 14 staff and 12 inmates had tested positive for COVID-19. The ACLU has petitioned the Kansas Supreme Court to immediately release prisoners who have pre-existing medical conditions that make them vulnerable to the coronavirus. That class action petition is on behalf of seven inmates at prisons, including the Lansing facility.
