Philippines: Geckos Are A No-Go For AIDS

The Philippines health department told people in the country that geckos, a traditional folk remedy, have no legitimate medical use. The lizards are an ingredient in some Asian alternative medicines, and gecko populations have come under pressure as a result of strong demand for the treatments.
