Budget Office: GOP Medicare Plan Could Lead To Rationing

Moving Medicare beneficiaries from public to private insurance — as the House GOP has proposed — could actually end up slowing the introduction of life-saving medical technology, the Congressional Budget Office says. That's the concern that led Republicans to oppose the president's health law last year.
