Hochul says 3 New Yorkers in hantavirus monitoring group, activates state lab for ‘worst-case’

Hochul said 17 people from the U.S. are being monitored in Nebraska, including three New York residents, and said the state is stepping up preparedness efforts following cuts to the CDC.
