Getting to Dread's ship with StopManip

When getting to Dread's ship, you can use StopManip to save about 6 seconds. However, when playing with the new graphics, there's a chance Guybrush will look at the ship instead, since you have to open the right-click menu before you can use StopManip. To save time even in this case, you can press the right mouse button and then both mouse buttons, and quickly repeat over and over until you succeed.
