Getting the speed glitch in Monkey Island Special Edition

To make Guybrush run faster, press Backspace to skip the intro right when you hear a flurry of four notes and the text "Deep In The Caribbean" appears on the screen. If you're using the new graphics, you'll notice whether the speed glitch worked almost immediately because, if it worked, Guybrush will be able to get closer to the edge of the screen while he's walking to the scumm bar.
