A king parrot comes to visit

It's called a King Parrot, but this one is a female. Their numbers fell dramatically after the bushfires of 2019/20, but it looks like they are coming back. I saw her perched just outside my back door, so I grabbed a camera and some bird seed to make her welcome. She's been here before so I knew she'd like it. Last time she was here with her boyfriend, but he was not nearly as tame. #birds #Australia
