Catching a BUZZ with the Jerry Jones Master Sitar-Guitar
I call this song "Anticipation of the Isolation Emancipation Celebration." At least all of this time in isolation has inspired me to dust off some of the guitars I haven't played in a while. I love this old Master Sitar model from Jerry Jones Guitars. It has the "buzz bridge" which simulates the trippy, middle-eastern vibe of the sitar, and 13 sympathetic strings which vibrate without the the strings being plucked; activated by the resonance of the body itself. You can hear this guitar on my "Drivin' it Down" album on the track "Bicycle Built for Two," which I recorded with the master of funk, Bootsy Collins.
