"GRINNIN' IN YOUR FACE" Guitar Solo on 1959 "Holy Grail" Les Paul Sunburst

Son House's "Grinnin in Your Face" is one of my favorite old songs. When I recorded it for my "Drivin' it Down" double album, I reimagined it a bit by melding it with the chord progressions of another favorite "House of the Rising Sun." Multi-Grammy Award Winner Bill Miller did a killer job laying down the vocals to give the song just the right emotion, and I took the opportunity to record the guitar solo on this all-original 1959 Les Paul "Holy Grail" belonging to John Carter Cash.
