User Profiles: Windows Libraries & Roaming Profiles

Although this lecture covers Windows 8 all the concepts hold true in Windows 10. User Profiles play a key role in Windows Libraries. These are designed for users to easily find and store different types of files: documents, music, and videos. IT professionals must understand these concepts. Roaming profiles are often used by enterprise networks. We will look at RUP and folder redirection as tools for admins. Admins can use GPO to set up roaming profiles and folder redirection.
