Inkscape Tutorial: Halftone Text
Montserrat font: https://www.fontsquirrel.com/fonts/montserrat Create vector text in halftones using Inkscape. In this video I use a technique I learned from HeathenX and apply it to text. His tutorial used a light gray background though; in mine I used a white which produces less unwanted dots. HeathenX has a blog with Inkscape video tutorials. His videos are actually how I first learned how to use the application myself back when I was looking for a free alternative to Illustrator. Check it out here: http://screencasters.heathenx.org/ This tutorial is for Inkscape version 0.48 and is intended to teach beginners how to use the software. Inkscape is a great free alternative to Illustrator and Corel Draw. Need a logo made? Request a design at: http://www.logosbynick.com Ready to make some money with your design skills?
