Giant pothole bursts tyres of at least 14 cars on motorway

A mega pothole burst the tyres of at least 14 cars on a motorway slip road in one evening -- leaving broken down vehicles all queued up on a hard shoulder. The pothole left cars with severe damage, buckling their wheels and leading to traffic building up in the area. A lane was closed on the A303 which joined the M3 near Popham, Hants, as emergency repairs attempt to patch up the pothole as big as a 'sink hole' and help the affected vehicles.
