Finance Secretary Shona Robison has announced the government's draft Scottish Budget for 2026/27.The Scottish Government will institute a mansion tax and a private jet tax. Both policies had been touted by the Scottish Greens and Ms Robison said two new council tax bands would be brought in for homes worth more than £1 million, as well as an updated valuation by April 2028.
