David Beckham carried out his latest promotional commitments on the Arabian Peninsula. Britain's newest knight of the realm has flown to Qatar ahead of Art Basel, which launches in capital city Doha's Design District next month. And having temporarily escaped the UK's freezing winter, Sir David, 50, ensured he was appropriately dressed in a casual beige linen suit while making the most of Qatar's balmy temperatures. The former Manchester United and England footballer appeared to be fulfilling another promotional role in the Arab country after previously suffering backlash for signing a £10 million deal to be the face of the Qatar World Cup in 2024.
