Ed Balls faced an awkward moment on Good Morning Britain after appearing to 'freeze' live on air. The former politician, 68, has been part of the ITV show's presenting team since joining in 2022. In yesterday's (January 13) episode, Ed appeared to freeze up when it was his turn to read out the time. It meant co-host Susanna Reid, 55, swiftly stepped in as she instead read out the time as the show went to a break.
