Timothy Busfield appears in court for child sex abuse case as he's denied bail

Actor Timothy Busfield has appeared in New Mexico court looking stony-faced as he faced his child sex abuse charges in public for the first time. The former West Wing star, 68, wore an orange prison jumpsuit as he stood before the judge with his hands clasped in front of him. Busfield's wife, Little House on the Prairie star Melissa Gilbert, was not seen inside the New Mexico courtroom during the arraignment. Bernalillo County Metropolitan Court Judge Felicia Blea-Rivera told the Emmy award-winning actor he would not be allowed bail during the brief two-minute hearing. Prosecutors filed a motion on Wednesday seeking to prevent Busfiled from being granted bond as his case is transferred to a Second Judicial District Court judge.
