One dead and 37 hurt after train derails in Spain days after fatal crash

A train has derailed near Barcelona, killing at least one and injuring 37 in a horrifying crash just days after a high-speed train crash left 40 dead. The R4 commuter train, which was between Sant Sadurní d'Anoia and Gelida stations, collided with the wall at 9pm local time on Tuesday night. The first carriage, which was carrying most of those who ended up injured, reportedly bore the brunt of the damage, suffering severe deformation. Local media reported that the wall had apparently fallen due to heavy rains in the region.
