Winterwatch fans hit out at 'overly dramatic' use of props

Just minutes into the BBC Two episode, Michaela, 59, got stuck in showcasing the weird and wonderful species, the strawberry worm, to audiences as home. She was joined by Dr Patrick Collins, an expert in the microorganisms that live in loch water, who appeared to help explain how the worms feed and survive. But aside from letting Dr Collins explain to audiences, Michaela was quick to bring out a prop made from pipe cleaners to demonstrate how it feeds.
