Moment leader of a 'cowardly' phone snatching gang is arrested in bed

The leader of a 'cowardly' phone snatching gang was arrested in bed over an 11-day robbery spree which saw a woman punched in the face and commuters terrorised and attacked. Adel Kerari, 27, of Lisgar Terrace in Hammersmith and Fulham, was jailed at Inner London Crown Court for two years and eight months in prison, having pleaded guilty to six counts of robbery and one of fraud by false representation.Kerari and four associates carried out a series of six violent robberies targeting lone travellers in June 2023.
